Candidate Pay Rate: $68 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across age groups
Rapidly assess, triage, and manage patients—including ED holds—safely and compassionately
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Perform required Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklist items
Maintain accurate patient documentation and adhere to unit protocols
Ensure infection control, immunization, and respirator-fit compliance as required

Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse license with verification per employer requirements
Current BLS, PALS, ACLS and TNCC certifications (required)
Demonstrated experience in emergency nursing and comfort managing ED holds
Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
Up-to-date immunizations, fit test, and required health screenings/drug screen

Education

Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) — program completion required

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency assessment and rapid triage skills
ED holds management and safe patient flow practices
Trauma and pediatric emergency care knowledge
Proficiency with clinical documentation and following unit protocols
Strong communication and teamwork in high-acuity settings
Familiarity with infection control practices and occupational health requirements
