Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist patients with mobility, bathing, dressing, and grooming while preserving dignity
Take and report vital signs and observe changes in patient condition
Document patient care and communicate updates clearly to the care team
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
Support interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care
Participate in orientation and ongoing trainings to keep skills fresh

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass required background and drug screening
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively with a care team

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of a state approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in assisting with ADLs and patient mobility
Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs
Familiarity with basic infection control practices
Good time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
Team player with clear verbal and written communication skills
Basic electronic charting or EMR literacy is a plus
