Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Perform routine vital signs checks and report any changes in condition to the nursing team
• Provide compassionate, respectful personal care to promote dignity and comfort
• Document care accurately and timely in resident charts and electronic records
• Support safe transfers and fall prevention protocols to maintain a secure environment
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver consistent, quality care

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (T-CNA accepted) required
• Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts and fulfilling an 8-week travel assignment
• Dependable, patient-centered attitude with strong observation skills
• Current immunizations and any facility-required screenings as needed
• Ability to follow care plans and communicate clearly with staff and residents

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of basic nursing care and resident hygiene
• Proficient in taking and recording vital signs and reporting changes
• Good infection control and safety practices
• Clear, compassionate communication with residents and care teams
• Ability to document accurately and follow facility procedures
• Team-oriented mindset with adaptability in new clinical settings
