Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert peri-procedural nursing care in the cardiac cath lab for diagnostic and interventional cases
• Administer and monitor emergency medications during procedures with precision and confidence
• Operate and document using MacLab and Meditech systems to ensure accurate patient records
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, patient-centered care
• Support on-call coverage and weekend cases, maintaining calm under pressure for urgent procedures
• Advocate for patient comfort and safety before, during, and after cath lab procedures

Qualifications

• Active RN license (required)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (cardiac cath lab experience required/preferred)
• Demonstrated cath lab skills including familiarity with LHC, PCI, TAVR, PPM, Impella, and IABP
• Strong emergency medication knowledge as noted in the job requirements
• Comfortable with on-call rotations and at least one weekend shift per month

Education

• Active RN license required
• Nursing diploma/ADN/BSN accepted (current licensure is the primary requirement)

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on cath lab experience and confidence in interventional procedures
• Familiarity with MacLab and Meditech documentation systems
• Experience with GE X-ray equipment used in the lab
• Skilled in emergency medication administration and patient monitoring
• Ability to manage multiple cases daily and maintain meticulous documentation
• Team-oriented communication and rapid decision-making in procedure settings
