Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Provide personal care and comfort while maintaining residents' dignity and safety
• Support the nursing team by working under RN/LVN supervision to deliver direct and indirect resident care
• Keep resident environments clean and safe to promote health and well-being
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, families, and staff both verbally and in writing
• Document resident care and observations accurately using basic computer systems as required
• Contribute to a positive, respectful atmosphere through strong interpersonal skills and teamwork

Qualifications

• Current California CNA certificate required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written
• Comfortable working under RN or LVN supervision in a skilled nursing setting
• Weekend availability required
• Basic computer skills for documentation and charting

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Resident care and daily living assistance expertise
• Proficient with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Strong verbal and written communication in English
• Interpersonal skills for professional resident and team interactions
