Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients as an LPN
• Monitor patient status, report changes, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and according to policy
• Document patient care clearly and timely to maintain continuity and quality
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning to support recovery
• Support a positive patient experience through professional, empathetic interactions

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — current, active license
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Current immunizations and required health screenings per facility policy
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Professional attitude, strong communication skills, and patient-centered approach

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN program or equivalent diploma/certificate

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of LPN scope of practice and basic clinical assessments
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during long shifts
• Basic wound care, IV site observation, and infection control knowledge
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient/family communication and teamwork
