Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality direct patient care within your LPN scope
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Monitor patient status, record vital signs, and report changes to the care team
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and support staff to coordinate individualized care
• Assist patients with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
• Maintain clear, timely charting and follow facility policies and infection-control practices
• Support patient and family education—help them understand care plans and next steps

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in New Mexico (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (preferred or able to obtain promptly)
• Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts and following facility protocols
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; dependable and detail-oriented
• Previous experience in long-term care, med-surg, or similar settings preferred
• Ability to pass required background checks, health screenings, and local credentialing

Education

• Diploma or certificate in Practical Nursing (LPN) or equivalent vocational training

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong medication administration and documentation skills
• Solid clinical assessment skills and comfort escalating changes in patient condition
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting best practices
• Infection control, wound care basics, and safe patient handling
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and staff
