Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents on your shift
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per facility policy
• Perform timely assessments, record vital signs and report changes in condition
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians and interdisciplinary team members for coordinated care
• Support patient comfort, safety and dignity while assisting with daily living needs
• Maintain accurate, timely charting in the electronic medical record
• Participate in shift handoffs and communicate critical information clearly

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Carolina or eligibility to obtain one
• BLS/CPR certification required (current and valid)
• Prior LPN experience preferred but new grads with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively on a collaborative care team
• Ability to work evenings and every other weekend as required

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medication administration and documentation practices
• Skilled at performing patient assessments and monitoring vital signs
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical charting
• Comfortable with bedside nursing tasks, wound care basics and ADL support
• Team player mindset with good time management and prioritization skills
