Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead project management activities to optimize the kidney transplant process end-to-end
• Document and map current workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement
• Draft clear, compliant policies and procedures to support revised workflows
• Design and deliver training for staff on new or updated processes to ensure smooth adoption
• Collaborate with clinical leaders and transplant teams to align project goals with patient care priorities
• Monitor implementation progress and measure outcomes to drive continuous quality improvement

Qualifications

• Active California RN license (required)
• Transplant coordinator experience (required)
• Experience writing policies and procedures and mapping workflows (required)
• Kidney transplant experience (strongly preferred)
• Nurse manager or charge experience (strongly preferred)
• Experience with transplant quality or performance improvement (preferred)
• BLS certification (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Project management and change management skills to drive clinical process improvement
• Strong workflow documentation and process-mapping abilities
• Excellent written communication for policy/procedure development
• Training and implementation skills to onboard multidisciplinary staff
• Familiarity with transplant coordination and clinical transplant operations
• Analytical mindset to identify optimization opportunities and measure impact
