Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage individualized patient care using the nursing process to promote and restore health
• Provide physical and emotional support to patients, families and caregivers during oncology treatment
• Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
• Supervise and mentor assigned team members to ensure high-quality care delivery
• Document patient assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately and timely
• Escalate concerns and communicate effectively with the Nurse Manager and leadership as needed

Qualifications

• Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire (Nursys-verified)
• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
• Some clinical nursing experience (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) highly preferred

Education

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong oncology nursing knowledge and patient-centered care skills
• Proficiency with the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation
• Effective collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Patient and family education and emotional support skills
• Clinical judgment, documentation accuracy and time management
• Leadership and ability to supervise assigned team members
