Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients in the rehabilitation area
- Administer medications and treatments safely and according to facility policy
- Monitor patient status and document changes clearly and promptly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and follow care plans
- Assist with patient mobility, activities of daily living, and rehabilitation support
- Educate patients and families about care plans and progress in an encouraging way
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) licensure as listed in the posting
- Experience or interest in rehabilitation care (preferred)
- Valid state nursing license to practice in New Mexico (required)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with patients and staff
Knowledge & Skills
- Fundamental nursing skills including assessment and medication administration
- Ability to provide rehab-focused patient support and assistive care
- Clear and timely clinical documentation
- Comfort working in a team-based clinical environment and following care plans
- Patient-centered communication with residents and families
