Shift Type: Varies per facility schedule, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care and assist residents with activities of daily living
- Support mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation to keep residents independent when possible
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to nursing staff
- Assist with feeding, grooming, toileting, and bathing while preserving dignity
- Document care accurately and communicate clearly with the care team and families
- Create comfortable, home-like experiences by engaging residents in conversation and meaningful activities
Qualifications
- Active GNA certification or equivalent state-approved nursing assistant credential
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Prior experience in long-term care, assisted living, or geriatrics is a plus
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a heart for serving older adults
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an approved Geriatric Nursing Assistant program or state-approved CNA/GNA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of ADLs, infection control, and basic resident care
- Comfortable with charting and following care plans
- Gentle, patient communication and teamwork with nurses and interdisciplinary staff
- Ability to follow safety protocols for transfers and equipment use
- Time management skills to prioritize resident needs during shift
