Shift Type: Night shift, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (NOC) — schedule varies by facility
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care to geriatric residents, helping them maintain dignity and comfort
- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility) with sensitivity and respect
- Monitor resident condition and report changes promptly to nursing staff to ensure timely care
- Support mealtime assistance and safe feeding practices, including basic documentation
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and the care team to deliver coordinated care
- Follow infection control protocols and promote a clean, safe environment
Qualifications
- Certified Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) required
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required by facility
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility health requirements (immunizations, TB test, etc.)
- Comfortable working overnight shifts and supporting elder care needs
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic geriatric care principles and common age-related conditions
- Skill in safe patient handling, transfers, and mobility assistance
- Familiarity with documentation practices and basic charting
- Ability to observe and report changes in behavior, skin integrity, appetite, and vitals
- Compassion, patience, and strong interpersonal skills with older adults and families
