Shift Type: Days vary, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care to geriatric residents, promoting dignity and comfort
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and transfers
- Monitor and report resident condition changes to nursing staff promptly and clearly
- Support mealtime, hydration, and safe feeding practices as needed
- Document care accurately and maintain resident confidentiality at all times
- Build rapport with residents and families to create a warm, person-centered environment
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) required
- State-required documentation and ability to work nights
- Comfortable working with elderly populations and supporting mobility needs
- Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of geriatric care best practices and safe transfer techniques
- Basic infection control and hygiene practices
- Comfortable with documentation and following care plans
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy clinical setting
- Compassion, patience, and strong observational skills
