Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care that preserves dignity and comfort
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing and toileting
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, and any notable changes in condition
- Support safe mobility and transfers while following proper body mechanics and safety protocols
- Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families and the interdisciplinary care team
- Help create a warm, home-like environment by participating in social and recreational activities
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (state-specific as required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Clean background check and current TB screening or documentation of immunizations as required
- Previous experience caring for older adults preferred but trainees with the right attitude are welcome
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a collaborative team
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing consistent, high-quality care
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved Geriatric Nursing Assistant program or equivalent certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assisting with ADLs and basic personal care
- Knowledge of infection control practices and proper PPE use
- Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs and observations
- Experience with dementia-friendly care approaches and de-escalation techniques
- Good time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
- Empathy, patience and strong interpersonal skills
