Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to geriatric residents, focusing on dignity and comfort
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
- Monitor residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff promptly
- Document care accurately and timely to support quality and continuity
- Support safe transfers and fall prevention measures to protect residents
- Collaborate with the care team to create a warm, respectful environment for seniors
Qualifications
- GNA certification or completion of a state approved Geriatric Nursing Assistant program
- Experience caring for older adults is preferred but great attitude and eagerness to learn are welcome
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required
- Up to date immunizations per facility policy
- Strong communication skills and a team oriented mindset
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of a GNA training program or state recognized certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfort with assisting residents with ADLs and mobility
- Basic infection control practices and safe patient handling
- Accurate documentation and charting skills
- Observational skills to notice and report subtle clinical changes
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary care teams
