Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on assistance with activities of daily living to promote resident dignity and comfort
- Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff promptly
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility support with patience and respect
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
- Support a safe, clean environment by following infection control and safety protocols
- Collaborate with the care team to create a warm, engaging atmosphere for residents
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) or equivalent — required
- Eligible for or holding Maryland state certification as applicable
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric settings preferred
- Basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Compassionate approach, strong communication skills, and ability to work nights
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of resident-centered care and eldercare best practices
- Skill in safe patient handling and mobility assistance
- Ability to observe and document changes in resident condition accurately
- Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork
- Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
