Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care throughout your shift
- Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes to the care team
- Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
- Document care accurately in the patient record and support continuity of care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to meet patient goals and discharge plans
- Support a positive and safe environment for patients, families, and coworkers
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing (required)
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure also accepted as indicated by job class
- Comfort and experience working overnight/night shift schedules
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Current immunizations and ability to meet facility health requirements
Education
- High school diploma or GED; completion of an accredited LPN program (required for LPN)
- ADN/BSN for Registered Nurse candidates (if applying as RN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid fundamentals in patient assessment, vital signs, and basic clinical interventions
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced healthcare setting
- Patient-focused communication and basic care coordination skills
- Familiarity with electronic medical record documentation (facility-specific orientation provided)
