Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on a 12+ hour day shift
• Perform thorough assessments and document findings clearly in the medical record
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update personalized care plans
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and follow-up
• Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns
• Support a positive unit culture by modeling professionalism, teamwork, and respect

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in New Mexico (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)
• Immunizations and TB screening up to facility requirements
• Comfortable with medication administration, patient assessments, and documentation
• Professional attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-first mindset
• Previous clinical experience preferred; new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome to inquire

Education

• LPN: Accredited LPN diploma or certificate program
• RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and observation skills
• Medication administration and IV knowledge (as applicable to role)
• Accurate electronic health record documentation
• Prioritization and time management during long shifts
• Safe infection control and isolation precautions
• Strong interpersonal and patient education skills
