Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care during night shifts
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document care clearly and timely in the patient record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Provide patient and family education with empathy and clarity
• Contribute to a positive, safety-focused culture on the unit

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential (RN preferred for this posting)
• Active, unencumbered nursing license (ability to obtain/maintain licensure for the assignment)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Comfort working independently on night shift and collaborating with a clinical team
• Previous acute care nursing experience is a strong plus

Education

• Diploma/Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent; BSN preferred where applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Medication administration and IV/infusion familiarity
• Accurate charting and familiarity with electronic medical records
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time during busy nights
• Clear communication with patients, families, and care teams
• Adaptability to new settings and quick orientation to unit-specific protocols
