Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patient function and create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions, exercise programs, and modalities
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate high-quality patient care
- Document patient progress clearly and timely in the electronic medical record
- Educate patients and families on home programs, safety, and long-term goals
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications
- Active New Jersey Physical Therapist license required
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain promptly)
- Experience in outpatient or contract settings is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills with patient-centered communication
- Able to start on or around 2026-02-02 for a time-limited assignment
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Bachelor or Master in Physical Therapy accepted
Knowledge & Skills
- Comprehensive patient evaluation and clinical reasoning
- Therapeutic exercise prescription and progression
- Manual therapy techniques and use of therapeutic modalities
- Proficient documentation and outcome tracking in EMR systems
- Ability to educate patients and caregivers effectively
- Team-oriented approach and strong time-management skills
