Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate patient care and ensure safety throughout each shift
- Administer treatments and medications according to policy and physician orders
- Perform accurate, timely documentation to maintain clear patient records
- Monitor and assess patient status, reporting changes to the interdisciplinary team
- Support admissions, transfers and discharges to keep patient flow smooth
- Collaborate with nurses, providers and support staff to deliver coordinated care
- Educate patients and families in a friendly, respectful way to promote recovery and wellness
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential
- Comfortable working the assigned day shift and committing to every other weekend
- Ability to work a travel contract assignment (start date 2026-02-02, end date 2026-03-02)
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Previous LPN experience preferred
Education
- Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing / LPN program
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and bedside nursing skills
- Medication administration and basic clinical procedures
- Accurate documentation and charting practices
- Infection control and patient safety principles
- Time management, adaptability and effective teamwork
- Clear, compassionate patient and family communication
