Shift Type: Rotating shifts (day and night); 36 hours/week (every other week) with option to work up to 48 hours/week. Specific start/end times vary by unit and schedule.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care on med/surg and telemetry patients
- Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to telemetry changes promptly
- Administer medications and IV therapies safely and document thoroughly
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
- Perform unit-specific competency tasks and participate in required skills checklists
- Support rapid response and emergency interventions when needed
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license (license verification required)
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Telemetry experience required; medical-surgical nursing experience required
- NIHSS preferred
- Completion of facility-specific competency testing and skills checklists
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation skills
- Proficient in medication administration and IV therapy management
- Solid clinical assessment, critical thinking, and prioritization
- Comfortable with electronic health record documentation
- Excellent communication and teamwork in fast-paced settings
- Ability to follow facility infection control and safety protocols
