Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT scans while maintaining patient comfort and safety
- Operate and troubleshoot CT equipment according to protocol and manufacturer guidelines
- Verify patient identity, clinical history and imaging orders prior to exams
- Adhere to radiation safety principles and dose optimization practices
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses and technologists to ensure timely, accurate imaging
- Complete competency testing and mandatory Trinity specialty checklists as required
- Maintain thorough documentation and image archiving in the imaging system
- Participate in infection control, fit testing and required health screenings
Qualifications
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Active radiologic technologist license/certification with verification
- Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing (or willingness to complete)
- Current fit test, drug screen, immunizations and health verifications as listed in onboarding
- Comfortable working rotating schedules including every-other-weekend and holidays
- Strong patient communication skills and attention to detail
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or CT program or equivalent clinical experience
Knowledge & Skills
- Proven knowledge of CT protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
- Radiation safety and dose optimization techniques
- Patient positioning and contrast administration fundamentals
- Ability to follow specialty-specific competency checklists
- Good clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with image acquisition workflows and quality control processes
