Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, day-focused schedule with every-other-weekend rotation

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality direct patient care on a med-surg/telemetry unit
- Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and respond to changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document care accurately
- Use the Sunrise EMR to chart assessments, interventions and care plans
- Collaborate with physicians, monitor techs and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate patient care
- Lead bedside patient education and discharge teaching to promote recovery
- Employ ACLS protocols when emergencies arise and support team-based resuscitation
- Safely care for higher-acuity and bariatric patients using proper equipment and safe-handling techniques
Qualifications
- Current, active RN license (New Hampshire or compact license acceptable)
- Minimum 2 years clinical nursing experience (telemetry or med-surg strongly preferred)
- ACLS certification required
- Proven telemetry experience and comfort with cardiac monitoring
- Familiarity with Sunrise EMR preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and participate in every-other-weekend rotation
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong telemetry monitoring and interpretation skills
- Solid med-surgical nursing knowledge and clinical assessment ability
- Proficient documentation and clinical charting in Sunrise EMR
- Experience with infusion pumps (Alaris) and common unit equipment
- Good critical thinking and prioritization in a moderate-acuity environment
- Clear communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff
- Patient safety and safe-handling experience for bariatric patients
