Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care for patients before, during, and after surgery
• Support and assist complex procedures including robotics, neuro, ortho, urology, and vascular cases
• Operate and support advanced OR equipment such as Stryker, DaVinci, Mako, and Hana
• Maintain strict sterile technique and ensure patient safety with 1:1 patient ratios when required
• Document patient care and perioperative events accurately in the MediTech EMR
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the perioperative team to ensure on-time starts and efficient room turnover
• Step into call rotations and weekend coverage with professionalism and teamwork

Qualifications

• RN with OR specialty (position listed as RN - OR)
• Level 2 trauma experience required
• Experience with robotics, neuro, ortho, urology, and vascular procedures (listed as must-have skills)
• Experience using MediTech EMR
• Preferred: Level 1 trauma experience and 2+ years as an OR RN (candidates with these will be considered first)
• Demonstrated ability to work as a team player and take initiative in a fast-paced surgical environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Perioperative nursing and trauma care expertise
• Hands-on experience with robotic surgery systems (DaVinci) and surgical platforms (Stryker, Mako, Hana)
• Familiarity with MediTech EMR for perioperative documentation
• Strong sterile technique and OR room turnover skills
• Ability to manage call rotations and weekend coverage professionally
• Excellent communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary surgical teams
