Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to PCU patients with confidence
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry, acting quickly on changes
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments accurately and safely
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes clearly and timely
Qualifications
- Active RN license with eligibility to practice in Tennessee (compact license accepted if applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of RN clinical experience; PCU or progressive care experience preferred
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Current CPR certification and demonstrated medication administration competency
- Comfort and experience working with telemetry and higher-acuity patients
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong telemetry and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
- Proficient in IV therapy, medication administration, and infusion management
- Excellent clinical assessment, critical thinking, and prioritization abilities
- Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and care teams
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced PCU environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate clinical documentation
