Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies, including diagnostic and invasive procedures, with patient safety and accuracy as top priorities
• Rapidly and competently image ED trauma and stroke patients to support time-sensitive clinical decisions
• Operate and troubleshoot CT suite equipment (GE Optima, GE EVO, GE Revolution, Medrad injectors) to maintain efficient workflows
• Document imaging and procedural data in Cerner RadNet and Philips PACS with attention to detail
• Perform venipuncture and contrast administration per protocol while monitoring patients for reactions
• Collaborate with ED, radiologists, and the care team to prioritize urgent cases and improve patient outcomes
• Contribute to a positive unit culture by mentoring colleagues, supporting supervisors, and adapting to shift-based staffing needs

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification — required
• Minimum 2 years of CT imaging experience (including diagnostic and invasive CT)
• Proven experience with ED trauma imaging and stroke protocols
• Familiarity with Cerner RadNet and Philips PACS workflow
• Hands-on experience with GE CT platforms (Optima, EVO, Revolution) and Medrad injectors
• Comfortable performing venipuncture and managing contrast administration
• Willingness to work nights, occasional weekends, and participate in on-call rotations

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques and protocols (diagnostic, invasive, cardiac, neuro, MSK, body)
• Experience with trauma and acute stroke imaging workflows
• Proficient with PACS, Cerner RadNet, and image documentation best practices
• Technical troubleshooting of CT equipment and injectors
• Patient-focused care, communication, and the ability to work efficiently in high-acuity settings
• Teamwork, adaptability, and the ability to work independently when needed
