Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT exams with attention to protocol, patient safety and image quality
• Position patients and operate CT equipment efficiently and compassionately
• Ensure radiation safety standards are met for patients and staff
• Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to support accurate diagnoses
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment; escalate maintenance issues as needed
• Document procedures and maintain clear, timely patient records
• Provide patient education and comfort before, during and after imaging exams

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience (as listed in the job details)
• Current ARRT (CT) certification or eligible (preferred — have your credentials ready!)
• State radiologic technologist licensure as required by Florida
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or willingness to obtain
• Strong patient care skills with the ability to work independently on night shift

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or CT program
• ARRT certification in Radiography/CT (or equivalent pathway) typically required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with CT imaging protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
• Solid understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles
• Experience with PACS, RIS and digital image management
• Excellent communication and patient-handling skills
• Ability to follow established protocols and adapt to clinical needs
