Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and special procedures, scrubbing in and maintaining a sterile field
• Operate and troubleshoot GE Innova imaging equipment during procedures
• Prepare, calibrate and maintain Cath Lab instruments and supplies to ensure smooth workflow
• Document procedures and patient data accurately in Meditech and MacLab
• Provide focused, 1:1 patient care before, during and after procedures, prioritizing safety and comfort
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient flow and on-call coverage
• Adhere to unit dress code and infection control standards while contributing to a positive unit culture

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• ARRT certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab or related procedural experience (as stated in posting)
• Competency in Special Procedures and GE Innova imaging systems (required)
• Familiarity with Meditech and MacLab documentation systems
• RCIS certification is a plus (preferred)
• Comfortable with scrubbing, stent and balloon angioplasty procedures, cerebral angiograms and ENT lab cases
• Willingness to be flexible for on-call coverage and occasional night responses

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience in Cardiac Cath Lab workflows and sterile technique
• Proficiency with GE Innova imaging systems
• Experience documenting in Meditech and MacLab
• Strong scrubbing skills and familiarity with stents, balloon angioplasty and cerebral angiograms
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication, critical thinking and patient-focused care
• Adaptability for frequent on-call requirements and schedule changes
