Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert peri-procedural nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization
- Assist the cath lab team during diagnostic and interventional procedures with attention to sterile technique and safety
- Monitor hemodynamics and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and support staff to ensure efficient, patient-centered care
- Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions
- Document care accurately and communicate handoffs clearly to maintain continuity
Qualifications
- Active RN license (required) — must meet state licensing requirements
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience; Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred
- Current BLS required; ACLS preferred or as required by facility
- Comfort with sterile technique, cath lab equipment, and procedural workflows
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with cardiac catheterization procedures and interventional cardiology terminology
- Proficient in monitoring cardiac rhythms, hemodynamic parameters, and sedation monitoring
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot cath lab equipment and monitors
- Excellent patient assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
- Team-oriented approach with clear, compassionate patient communication
