Shift Type: Rotating nights including weekends, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Night shift, overnight rotation)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI scans that help clinicians make confident diagnoses
- Operate and maintain the GE Discovery 450 MRI system with attention to safety and image quality
- Screen patients and enforce MRI safety protocols, including implant and contraindication checks
- Position patients and select appropriate scanning protocols to achieve optimal diagnostic images
- Document procedures and patient information accurately in Meditech and local EMR systems
- Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to escalate urgent findings and improve patient outcomes
- Work independently on overnight shifts while maintaining excellent communication with team members
Qualifications
- BLS (required)
- ARRT certification (required)
- ACLS (preferred, but not required)
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience (per job posting)
- Experience operating GE Discovery 450 or similar 1.5T systems
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR and standard radiology workflows
- Comfort working independently on overnight shifts and willing to work weekends
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of MRI physics, protocols, and image optimization
- Patient safety and screening for MRI contraindications
- Proficiency with GE Discovery 450 operation and routine troubleshooting
- Experience documenting in Meditech and integrating with PACS systems
- Ability to deliver excellent patient care and communication in a fast-paced unit
- Critical thinking and flexibility for independent night-shift responsibilities
