Roles & Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot non-clinical equipment to keep operations running smoothly
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and document completed work accurately
- Coordinate with vendors and facilities teams for repairs or parts replacement
- Manage inventory of tools and supplies and ensure timely restocking
- Assist staff with setup, logistics, and equipment needs for departmental tasks
- Report safety concerns and follow hospital policies to maintain a safe environment
- Communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams to prioritize and resolve issues quickly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or associate degree preferred
- Prior experience in a hospital, facilities, or technical support role is a plus
- Comfortable with basic hand tools, preventive maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting
- Ability to pass required background check, drug screen, and health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Valid driver’s license preferred if travel between facilities is required
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical certificate or associate degree in a related field preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with routine equipment maintenance and basic repair techniques
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate documentation
- Basic computer skills for logging work orders and tracking inventory
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure
- Customer-service orientation and the ability to work well with clinical and non-clinical staff
