Roles & Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot non-clinical equipment to keep operations running smoothly
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and document completed work accurately
• Coordinate with vendors and facilities teams for repairs or parts replacement
• Manage inventory of tools and supplies and ensure timely restocking
• Assist staff with setup, logistics, and equipment needs for departmental tasks
• Report safety concerns and follow hospital policies to maintain a safe environment
• Communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams to prioritize and resolve issues quickly

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or associate degree preferred
• Prior experience in a hospital, facilities, or technical support role is a plus
• Comfortable with basic hand tools, preventive maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting
• Ability to pass required background check, drug screen, and health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Valid driver’s license preferred if travel between facilities is required

Education

• High school diploma or GED required
• Technical certificate or associate degree in a related field preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with routine equipment maintenance and basic repair techniques
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate documentation
• Basic computer skills for logging work orders and tracking inventory
• Problem-solving mindset and the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure
• Customer-service orientation and the ability to work well with clinical and non-clinical staff
