Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, includes weekends (weekends required)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Position patients for diagnostic x-rays (chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot, ankle) with care and precision
- Operate X-ray equipment and process images, ensuring high-quality images are documented in PACS
- Provide basic patient care under clinic nursing supervision, including obtaining vital signs and preparing patients for clinician evaluation
- Obtain specimens, including blood draws, when qualified — accurate collection matters
- Maintain exam rooms: restock supplies, keep equipment organized, and ensure a safe environment
- Document procedures clearly and accurately in EPIC EMR
- Float to Main Radiology as needed and collaborate closely with clinicians and nursing staff
Qualifications
- Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by the State of California
- Current ARRT licensure
- California-issued Fluoroscopy Permit
- Current CPR Certification
- EPIC EMR experience
- Previous traveler experience preferred
- Specimen collection / blood draws if qualified
- Willingness to float to Main Radiology and work weekends
Education
- Current Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by the State of California
Knowledge & Skills
- X-ray positioning for a variety of exams (extremities, chest, etc.)
- Hands-on experience operating X-ray equipment and digital image processing
- PACS workflow and image documentation
- Strong patient care skills, including obtaining vital signs and patient prep
- Specimen collection and venipuncture experience (when qualified)
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR for documentation
- Clear communication, teamwork, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize patient safety
