Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating (day, evening, night, weekends & holidays). 7-on/7-off rotation — when scheduled: Wednesday–Tuesday, 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM (1 hour break). Coverage includes nights, weekends and holiday rotations.
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy and medication management services aligned with TCRHCC policies
- Deliver direct patient care across populations including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, oncology and obstetric patients
- Serve as a clinical resource for both inpatient and outpatient departments, offering evidence-based medication therapy recommendations
- Support and supervise pharmacy operations including pharmacy technicians, assistants and billers
- Manage specialized pharmacy-based clinics and continually analyze clinical services to improve quality of care
- Administer and uphold pharmacy policies and procedures while supporting the organization’s mission and values
- Act as Clinic Manager of Operations when assigned, providing technical and administrative leadership
- Participate in rotational shifts including nights, weekends and holidays to ensure continuity of pharmacy services
Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy from a school recognized by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education
- Current, valid and unrestricted license to practice Pharmacy in a U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience as a Registered Pharmacist and at least one (1) year as a Clinical Pharmacist
- Willingness to complete fingerprinting clearance prior to start
- Comfort working rotational shifts (day/evening/night), weekends and holidays
Education
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-recognized school
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (acceptable if from an ACPE-recognized institution)
Knowledge & Skills
- Inpatient pharmacy operations and clinical pharmacy practices
- Medication management across pediatrics, adult, geriatric and specialty populations
- Direct patient care and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Pharmacy supervision, staff development and clinic operations
- Familiarity with pharmacy billing and satellite clinic services
- Ability to develop and evaluate clinical programs to improve quality of care
- Cultural competence working with Navajo, Hopi and other local communities
