Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide thorough occupational therapy evaluations and design effective treatment plans
- Deliver hands-on OT treatments focused on improving activities of daily living and safety
- Collaborate closely with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to support coordinated care
- Maintain timely, accurate and compliant clinical documentation
- Coach patients and families on strategies to maximize independence and safety
- Contribute to a positive care environment that supports recovery and quality of life
Qualifications
- Active California Occupational Therapy license (required)
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with clinical experience
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience is a plus
- Strong patient-care focus with excellent time-management skills
- Clear, professional communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to compliant documentation and best clinical practices
Knowledge & Skills
- Occupational therapy evaluations and treatment planning
- ADL training and safety awareness interventions
- Interdisciplinary communication and teamwork
- Clinical documentation best practices and regulatory compliance
- Patient-centered care and rehabilitation approaches
