Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on outpatient physical therapy using strong manual therapy techniques
• Evaluate and treat geriatric patients with chronic pain, orthopedic issues, and balance concerns
• Create individualized treatment plans that prioritize function, safety, and quality of life
• Supervise and mentor a PTA, ensuring high-quality patient care and professional development
• Document patient progress accurately and communicate outcomes with the care team
• Educate patients and families on home programs, fall prevention, and long-term management

Qualifications

• Active CA PT license (required)
• Outpatient physical therapy experience (required)
• Strong manual therapy skills and confidence treating orthopedics, geriatrics, and balance disorders
• Experience supervising a PTA or willingness to take on supervisory responsibilities
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care mindset

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in physical therapy assessment and treatment planning
• Manual therapy techniques for outpatient orthopedic and geriatric populations
• Balance rehabilitation and fall-risk reduction strategies
• Experience with outpatient documentation and productivity expectations
• Ability to mentor and supervise PTA staff effectively
• Patient education and home exercise program development
