Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for K-12 students to inform instruction and interventions
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral supports
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create student-centered plans
• Provide short-term counseling and crisis support to students when needed
• Use data to recommend evidence-based interventions and track student progress
• Consult with school staff to build capacity for classroom-based strategies and positive behavior supports
• Maintain confidential, timely documentation and clear communication with families and team members

Qualifications

• Must be certified or eligible for professional certification as a School Psychologist in South Carolina (SC certification eligible)
• Minimum 2+ years of school psychology experience (K-12 preferred)
• Comfortable working primarily face-to-face; open to hybrid schedule (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)
• Experience conducting assessments, writing IEPs, and collaborating with school teams
• Ability to work Monday–Friday day shifts (7:00 AM - 2:30 PM) — schedule is non-negotiable

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in psychoeducational assessment and interpretation
• Strong knowledge of special education law and IEP processes
• Skilled in behavior intervention planning and progress monitoring
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, families, and staff
• Data-driven decision making and progress reporting
• Confidential recordkeeping and professional ethics in school settings
