Shift Type: Rotating schedule, 4 days per week, 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Night), rotating weekends with every other weekend coverage
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations in the operating room and on portable units to support excellent patient care
- Operate C-arm and portable X-ray equipment safely and efficiently during surgical and bedside procedures
- Administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs when required, following facility protocols
- Chart thoroughly in Epic to ensure accurate, timely patient records and seamless team communication
- Practice strict radiation safety and infection prevention measures to protect patients and staff
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses and the radiology team to deliver coordinated perioperative imaging
- Respond to trauma and emergency imaging needs with calm, accurate technique under pressure
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, escalate issues, and document maintenance as needed
Qualifications
- Must have prior Operating Room imaging experience
- Proficiency with Epic charting system (required)
- ARRT (R) certification preferred
- Fluoro permit preferred when applicable
- BLS certification preferred
- Comfortable performing portable/bedside imaging and C-arm procedures
- Knowledge of contrast media administration and starting peripheral IVs
- Familiarity with infection prevention, isolation precautions and radiation safety
- Willingness to work rotating night shifts and every other weekend coverage
Education
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- State radiologic technologist licensure or certification as required by facility
- ARRT (R) certification preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Radiography and fluoroscopy technique
- Portable X-ray and C-arm operation
- PACS image handling and workflow
- Contrast media preparation and administration
- Starting peripheral IVs for imaging procedures
- Infection prevention and isolation precautions/PPE
- Radiation safety principles
- Experience with Epic charting
- Familiarity with GE, Philips, Siemens and Toshiba imaging systems
- Trauma imaging and ER/ICU/OR workflows
