Shift Type: Monday-Friday with Saturday rotation, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM (Day shift, rotating weekends)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $68 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography, including 3-D Mammography, with attention to image quality and patient safety
- Position and prepare patients compassionately to ensure comfort and accurate imaging
- Operate and troubleshoot Hologic 3D equipment and other mammography systems
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to deliver timely, patient-centered care
- Document exams accurately in the charting system (Epic preferred) and communicate findings clearly
- Manage a high daily caseload (approximately 150) while maintaining professional standards
- Float to different departments within the main campus as needed to support staffing needs
Qualifications
- Valid California Mammography Technologist license (required)
- ARRT (R) — required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) — required
- Minimum 2 years' experience in mammography (screening/diagnostic) preferred
- ARRT (M) preferred
- Comfortable using Epic or similar charting systems (preferred)
- Willingness to float across departments and work scheduled Saturday rotations
Education
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Mammography program
- ARRT certification and state mammography licensure required
Knowledge & Skills
- Proven experience with 3-D Mammography and Hologic 3D systems
- Strong understanding of screening and diagnostic mammography protocols
- Excellent patient positioning and imaging technique skills
- Ability to handle a high-volume caseload while maintaining quality
- Familiarity with infection control and radiation safety practices
- Good communication skills with patients and interdisciplinary teams
- Basic troubleshooting and equipment maintenance awareness
