Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Day). Call required with 30-minute response time for after-hours ED coverage
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging for a broad patient mix (pediatrics through geriatrics) including stroke and cardiac protocols
- Prepare and administer contrast media safely and monitor patients for reactions
- Start peripheral IVs when required for contrast administration
- Operate GE CT equipment and PACS for image acquisition and distribution
- Execute specialty CT procedures such as brain perfusion, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, myelography, transplant studies and vascular CTA
- Provide excellent patient-centered care in both outpatient and ED settings — calm, clear communication matters
- Collaborate with ED clinicians and ancillary teams to prioritize urgent imaging and support fast turnaround for critical cases
- Perform required X-ray studies (extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest, musculoskeletal, fluoroscopy) as needed
Qualifications
- ARRT certification and ARRT RT (R) (CT) required
- BLS certification required
- Active Washington state radiologic technologist license (WA LIC) required
- Minimum 2 years CT experience (stroke and cardiac imaging experience preferred)
- Comfortable working independently in a freestanding ED and outpatient clinic
- Familiarity with EPIC charting and PACS workflows
- Able to respond to call within 30 minutes when scheduled for call
Knowledge & Skills
- Advanced CT imaging techniques including brain perfusion, coronary CTA and vascular CTA
- Contrast preparation and safe administration practices
- Peripheral IV insertion for contrast delivery
- Proficient with GE CT scanners and PACS systems
- X-ray acquisition skills across extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest and fluoroscopy
- Multiplanar reconstruction and post-processing (MRP) experience preferred
- Strong patient communication and customer service skills in emergent and outpatient settings
- Ability to prioritize urgent studies and collaborate with ED teams
