Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM (Day). First week onboarding: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Note: 10-hour shifts may be used during holiday weeks to accommodate 40 guaranteed hours. No weekends, no on-call.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate and deliver safe, high-quality external beam treatments using Varian TrueBeam and Halcyon linear accelerators
• Use ARIA v15 for treatment documentation, chart checks, and workflow coordination
• Perform CBCT, kV/mV imaging and image-guided patient setup, ensuring accurate patient positioning
• Apply advanced techniques including DIBH, SRS, electron fields and specialty treatments as indicated
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists and multidisciplinary teams to execute care plans
• Respond to emergency situations (crash cart, defibrillator) following facility protocols
• Support pediatric and adult patient populations with compassionate, age-appropriate care
• Contribute to teaching and training activities when at a teaching hospital site

Qualifications

• Ohio State License (required)
• ARRT (Radiation Therapy) registry required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Radiation Therapist (5 years preferred)
• Demonstrated competency on Varian TrueBeam, Halcyon and ARIA v15
• Experience with VisionRT/OSMS, DIBH, SRS, CBCT and kV/mV imaging is strongly preferred
• Comfort working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics and adults
• Able to complete 40-hour workweeks and adapt to occasional 10-hour holiday shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in Linac operation (TrueBeam, Halcyon) and ARIA v15 treatment management
• Strong skills in CBCT imaging, kV/mV imaging and image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT)
• Dosimetry basics and experience with electron field treatments
• Familiarity with VisionRT/OSMS and DIBH techniques for motion management
• Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) treatment experience or familiarity
• Chart checking, treatment documentation and attention to detail
• Emergency response skills (crash cart, defibrillator) and safe patient handling
• Ability to work collaboratively in a teaching hospital environment
