Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver targeted math instruction to small groups and individual students to close learning gaps
- Provide literacy interventions and scaffold reading skills for early elementary learners
- Teach executive functioning strategies to help students organize, plan, and self-manage
- Travel from site to site (based out of the ESC) to support multiple school locations efficiently
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to align interventions and goals
- Track student progress and communicate meaningful updates to families and district staff
- Create engaging, standards-aligned lessons tailored for mild/moderate special education needs
Qualifications
- CDE certification in hand (required)
- Experience working with elementary (K-1) and middle school (6-8) students or strong demonstrated skills with those age groups
- Background in Special Education (mild/moderate) and delivering targeted Math and Literacy supports
- Comfort working across multiple sites and adapting to different school environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and administrators
