Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night 4x12-hour schedule, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (night shift). Schedule is 4x12 nights per assignment with every-other-weekend required; float between like units as needed.
Hours per Week: 48
Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality respiratory care for critically ill adult and pediatric ICU patients
- Manage and troubleshoot mechanical ventilators and advanced airway devices
- Perform respiratory assessments and develop/implement treatment plans in collaboration with ICU teams
- Document patient care and ventilator changes accurately in Epic
- Float to like units as needed to support staffing and patient needs
- Participate in weekend and holiday coverage per schedule and unit needs
- Adhere to infection control policies and facility guidelines (flu vaccine required, COVID-19 vaccine not required)
Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) — required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant RT experience (ICU/Pediatrics experience preferred and required comfort with both adults and children in ICU)
- Experience with Epic charting preferred/expected
- Willingness to work nights, weekends and float between like units
- Able to meet facility vaccination policy: flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed); COVID-19 vaccine not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong ventilator management and airway care skills
- Critical care assessment and intervention for adult and pediatric patients
- Proficient documentation practices in Epic
- Effective communication and teamwork in interdisciplinary ICU settings
- Ability to adapt quickly when floating between like units
