Shift Type: 4x10 Day schedule, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (day shift); 4 days per week (schedule varies); every-other-weekend required; on-call/call responsibilities required
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with interventional radiology procedures using established protocols
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
- Document patient care and procedures accurately in Epic
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists to deliver safe, efficient care
- Follow radiation safety and infection prevention standards at all times
- Provide patient education, comfort, and compassionate support throughout procedures
- Cover scheduled weekends and participate in on-call rotations as required
- Float between like units within your scope to meet facility needs
Qualifications
- ARRT registration required
- Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience required
- Experience with Epic charting is preferred
- Willingness to work every-other-weekend and participate in on-call coverage
- Able to float between similar units as needed
- Pending licenses are not accepted; active licensure required
- Locals not accepted within a 50-mile radius of Cape Fear Valley Medical Center (per facility rule)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and equipment
- Proficiency with Epic electronic charting
- Familiarity with ARRT standards and expectations
- Ability to work effectively in a Level III trauma center and teaching hospital setting
- Good communication, teamwork, and patient-focused care skills
- Comfort with floating between like units and handling variable schedules
