Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with interventional radiology procedures using established protocols
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Document patient care and procedures accurately in Epic
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists to deliver safe, efficient care
• Follow radiation safety and infection prevention standards at all times
• Provide patient education, comfort, and compassionate support throughout procedures
• Cover scheduled weekends and participate in on-call rotations as required
• Float between like units within your scope to meet facility needs

Qualifications

• ARRT registration required
• Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience required
• Experience with Epic charting is preferred
• Willingness to work every-other-weekend and participate in on-call coverage
• Able to float between similar units as needed
• Pending licenses are not accepted; active licensure required
• Locals not accepted within a 50-mile radius of Cape Fear Valley Medical Center (per facility rule)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and equipment
• Proficiency with Epic electronic charting
• Familiarity with ARRT standards and expectations
• Ability to work effectively in a Level III trauma center and teaching hospital setting
• Good communication, teamwork, and patient-focused care skills
• Comfort with floating between like units and handling variable schedules
