Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Support safe transfers and mobility while following proper body mechanics
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team
• Document care accurately and promptly in the resident record
• Work closely with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver person-centered care
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (eligible to work in New Mexico)
• T-CNA or travel CNA experience is a plus and aligns well with this role
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Comfortable working 12.5-hour day shifts Monday through Wednesday
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program; high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
• Basic vital signs monitoring and documentation
• Understanding of infection control and resident safety practices
• Reliable time management and charting accuracy
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong observational skills
