Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding) to preserve dignity
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
- Accurately document care, observations, and communications in the patient record
- Collaborate with nurses and therapists to support individualized care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection prevention practices
- Offer emotional support and positive encouragement to patients and families
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
- Travel CNA / T-CNA experience preferred
- Ability to work 12+ hour day shifts and maintain focus during long shifts
- Eligible to work at the facility and complete required onboarding and credential verification
Education
- CNA certification required; high school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong fundamentals in patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Comfortable taking and recording vital signs accurately
- Good communication skills for teamwork and patient interactions
- Basic infection control and safety practices
- Reliable time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting
