Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care and support for residents’ daily living activities
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility to promote comfort and dignity
- Take and record vital signs, report changes promptly to nursing staff
- Document resident observations and care provided in a clear, timely manner
- Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies to protect residents and staff
- Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team and families
- Help create a warm, respectful environment that supports resident wellbeing
Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential for VT or NH (required)
- Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift and providing hands-on resident care
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
- Strong communication skills, compassion, and a team-first attitude
Education
- Completion of an approved LNA training program
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in activities of daily living (ADLs) assistance and mobility support
- Able to accurately take and record vital signs and observe changes
- Knowledge of infection control and safe patient-handling techniques
- Basic documentation and charting skills
- Reliable time management and ability to work in fast-paced care settings
- Strong interpersonal skills for resident-centered care
