Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
- Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and positioning while following care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and resident status
- Collaborate with team members to create a comfortable, respectful environment for residents
- Support meal times and ensure residents receive appropriate assistance during feeding and nutrition activities
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification — VT or NH eligibility preferred
- Local candidates only (position is local contract)
- Must be able to work both weekends as required by the schedule
- Must have reliable transportation and own housing while on assignment
- Able to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care
Education
- Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant program or equivalent
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Competent with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
- Basic clinical skills: vital signs, safe transfers, positioning
- Familiarity with documentation practices and care plan follow-through
- Infection control and safe hygiene practices
- Teamwork, time management, and strong observational skills
- Compassionate communication with residents and families
