Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and support their daily living activities
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility in a respectful manner
- Take and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
- Help maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents
- Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families and care team members
- Follow infection control practices and facility policies to protect everyone
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
- Comfortable working in a per diem/contract setting with flexible availability
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care and personal support skills
- Understanding of activities of daily living (ADLs) and resident assistance
- Good observation and reporting skills for resident condition changes
- Infection control awareness and safe care practices
- Compassionate bedside manner and customer-focused attitude
